April 25, (THEWILL) – The President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Tuesday, received in audience, the governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, at his Asokoro residence in Abuja.
Others who visited the former Lagos state governor include Senator Opeyemi Bamidele, Senator-elect, Godswill Akpabio and Senator Barau Jubrin.
THEWILL reports that Tinubu returned to Nigeria on Monday, after a 35-day vacation in Paris, France.
While welcoming Tinubu back home, Barau said, “We are all happy to see our Leader, our President-elect back with his amiable wife, looking so fresh and fit and ready to hit the ground running.
“My campaign organisation and I are very glad to have him back. He has said he is back, fit and ready for the task ahead. We know and trust him to be a man of his word. We cannot expect less.”
Senator Barau Jubrin along with Godswill Akpabio are aspirants for the Senate Presidency of the 10th Assembly.
