
May 30, (THEWILL) –President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday, assumed official duties at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The President’s convoy arrived at the State House at precisely 2:35 pm on Tuesday.
The President’s convoy drove into the Presidential Villa on Tuesday afternoon and was received at the forecourt of his office by the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, who himself had resumed work earlier in the day.
Also on hand to receive the President were the Speaker, House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila and the Permanent Secretary, State House, Tijjani Umar, as well as Dele Alake and James Faleke.
The President immediately went into a closed-door meeting with the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, and the Group Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited, Mele Kyari.
The President and his Vice, Kashim Shettima, were Sworn-In on Monday, at the Eagle Square by the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Olukayode Ariwoola.
