
July 02, (THEWILL) – President Bola Tinubu has left Lagos, where he has been enjoying the Sallah holidays, for the presidential villa, in Abuja.
He was accompanied to the presidential wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, by Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
President Tinubu had returned to Lagos on Tuesday, from London, after his international trip to Paris, France, where he participated in the summit for ‘A New Global Financing Pact.
During his five days stay in Lagos, the president paid a courtesy visit to the paramount rulers of Ijebu, Egba, and Eko.
He also played host to the President of Guinea Bissau and Chairman, Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, Umaro Sissoco Embalo, in his Lagos residence on Saturday.
While in Lagos, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Thursday, held a welcome reception for the President.
The event, which was held at the State House in Marina, had in attendance former Governor of Lagos State, Akinwunmi Ambode, among other dignitaries.
