June 29, (THEWILL) – President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Thursday, paid a private visit to some prominent traditional rulers in Ogun State.
Among the traditional rulers the President visited included the Awujale and Paramount ruler of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, in Ijebu-Ode and the Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo, in Abeokuta.
The President was received on his arrival at the Palace of the Awujale by the State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, party supporters and founder of Globacom, Mike Adenuga.
Among the entourage of the President included his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, among others.
Governor Abiodun had, in an invitation letter sent out on Wednesday, through his aide, Babatunde Olaotan, to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun state, urged party leaders, elders and supporters in the three Senatorial District to welcome the President.
President Tinubu, in his brief address to the Awujale, thank the Royal father and the people of Ogun State for their support in his election as President.
