February 20, (THEWILL) – Nollywood actress cum politician, Tonto Dikeh, has penned an apology to her political party, African Democratic Congress (ADC), for engaging in a war of words with the father of her son, Olakunle Churchill, on social media.
The mother of one, who is also the Deputy Governorship candidate of ADC in River State, had called out her estranged husband over their son’s welfare.
Dikeh had labelled Churchill a deadbeat father, liar, cheat and shady businessman while providing proof of some of her allegations.
Churchill, on the other hand, also claimed the actress intentionally deprived him of seeing and caring for their son.
While still engaging in the altercation, Dikeh dragged her colleague, Foluke Daramola, into her social media war.
She called her a fat fool and advised her to stay off her business as she doesn’t have her time.
Having unleashed her anger on the two, she became remorseful and apologised to her party for her attitude.
“To my godfathers, my party ADC, to my principal, HE Tonte and to my Rivers people. I am very sorry.
“Although I am not sorry that I spoke. I am sorry that my action may have affected you in one way or the other. I am learning,” she wrote.
