SAN FRANCISCO, October 23, (THEWILL) – The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Friday put the fatality figure in the Yola, Adamawa State, mosque bombing at 27.
A senior information officer at NEMA, Sani Datti, said in a statement that 27 persons were killed and 96 injured in the explosion at Jambutu Mosque during Juma’at prayer on Friday.
According to Datti, the injured victims in the blast had been evacuated to the Federal Medical Centre, Yola and Specialist Hospital Jimeta, both in the State.
