
August 22, (THEWILL) – Controversial singer, Azeez Adeshina Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, has reacted to a trending video of guests dancing to his song, “Coming,” at Yusuf, the son of President Muhammadu Buhari’s wedding in Kano State.
THEWILL recalls that It was a grand ceremony in Bichi attended by Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, former President Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, serving and former governors, Federal and state legislators, traditional rulers, as well as prominent personalities from within and outside the country.
That Naira Marley’s song was played at the wedding has attracted criticisms from Nigerians on social media and has drawn the attention of the singer.
Uploading the video on his Instagram page, the singer wished he was invited for the wedding, saying the North loves him.
He wrote: “This was at Buhari’s son wedding yesterday in Kano. I’m a certified hit maker apparently; anytime you hear Naira Marley your home training must japa.
“I wish I was at this wedding sha looks too fun, I love them in the North and they love me too.”
