BEVERLY HILLS, April 19, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday received briefings from Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.
The briefing, held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, was reportedly meant to update the President of developments while he was away.
Recall that Buhari proceeded to London, United Kingdom on March 30 for what the Presidency described as a routine medical check up.
He returned to the country last Thursday after spending 16 days in London.
Buhari neither formally informed the National Assembly of his trip nor did he send a letter transferring the reins of power to his Number Two, with aides saying this was because his absence did not violate the 21 days where it must become mandatory for him to hand over power to the Vice President in line with the Constitution.
