April 20, (THEWILL) – Mavin record boss, Michael Ajereh, aka Don Jazzy, has revealed the reason he has not released a song with Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid.
The entrepreneur, in a question and answer session with his fans on Instagram, stated that the songs he recorded with Wizkid were not good enough.
A follower had asked the producer when he would collaborate with the Grammy-award singer.
“When will you have a collaboration with Wizkid? What has been delaying the Grammy award song?” the follower asked.
In his response, Don Jazzy said they worked on two songs together that were unreleased because they weren’t up to standard.
He added that they might drop more collaborative songs in the future.
“We actually did like two songs a while back but we never released it. I don’t know, I think it wasn’t good enough.
“Sometimes, we have those days when you do some songs and people are not feeling it like that.
“But then we had ‘Surulere’ remix. I think that’s the only time that we have worked other than those other two songs that I said we did but didn’t put out.
“One day. I don’t know, you know how those things go. You know I’m upcoming. One day we will be in the studio together. It will happen,” he stated.
