BEVERLY HILLS, October 24, (THEWILL) – Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has asked the public to disregard reports claiming he sacked his Chief Security Officer, CSO, Mr Promise Wosu, over alleged fraud.
The governor in a statement by his spokesman, Simeon Nwakaudu described the news reports as “False report.”
“The Rivers State Government has debunked a false report published by some online media claiming that Mr Promise Wosu, the Chief Security Officer to the Rivers State Governor has been sacked.
“The report in its entirety is false and should be disregarded by the public,” he wrote.
The spokesman did not respond to multiple phone calls earlier when we tried to get his comments on the reports.
