SAN FRANCISCO, January 03, (THEWILL) –Â The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, on Wednesday, announced the dissolution of six Councils’ Caretaker Committees in the State.
The dissolution of the Councils’ Caretaker Committees also means that the Chairmen of the affected Committees have been fired.
The dissolution which is coming amid killings in the state was announced in a statement by Kenneth Kobani, the Secretary to Government of Rivers State.
Kobani advised the affected Caretaker Committee Chairmen to handover all council properties to the Local government Permanent Secretaries.
