July 01, (THEWILL) – The media aide to Sunday Igboho, Olayomi Koiki, has alleged that gunmen have again attacked the Soka Ibadan residence of Yoruba Nation Agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho.
The reported attack is coming hours to a planned “Yoruba Nation” rally in Lagos State.
Koiki claimed that some men adorning military uniforms carried out the attack around 1:00am on Thursday.
“I can confirm that those who came are definitely Nigerian soldiers. There are more than 100 soldiers that came.
“The situation is very active as more security operatives in about seven Nigerian Army patrol vans have arrived,” Koiki alleged, on a Facebook media page.
The report alleged that Igboho’s vehicles, including his G-Wagon, Prado Jeep, some valuable properties including furniture, and windows were destroyed, while bullet holes were found in cars parked in the premises.
Also blood stains were seen at the premises.
It was also alleged that some persons in the house, including a close ally of Igboho, were whisked away.
THEWILL gathered that Igboho was not at home during the attack.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Oyo State, Adewale Osifeso, when contacted, said he also heard about the invasion, but he would find out to know what happened.
