November 08, (THEWILL) – Another batch of one hundred and sixty one Nigerians were, on Tuesday, brought back to the country from Tripoli, Lybia.
The returnees were brought back aboard Al Buraq Air with registration number 5A-DMG and flight number BRQ189/07.TSINK.MJI, which arrived at the Cargo Wing of the Murtala Muhammad International Airport Ikeja at about 2305 hours.
The profile of the new returnees indicates that 100 adult females, 37 adult males, 9 female children, 7 male children, 4 female infants and 4 male infants were all aboard the flight that departed Tripoli at about 1722 hours.
When THEWILL arrived at the scene, it was observed that officials of the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons and Other Related Matters (NAPTIP) and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) were at the airport to receive the returnees
