April 19, (THEWILL) – The Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC), has endorsed the second term bid of Babajide Sanwo-Olu as governor of the State in the 2023 general elections.
The GAC took the position at a meeting in Lagos on Monday.
Gboyega Akosile, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Sanwo-Olu, who made this known, said the GAC also gave a pass mark to the State governor for staying through to the developmental agenda of Lagos.
He tweeted, “Breaking news: Lagos GAC gives nod to Governor @jidesanwoolu’s second term bid. The Governance Advisory Council at a meeting in Lagos today gave pass mark to Sanwo-Olu for staying through to the developmental agenda of Lagos. Congratulations dear boss!”
