May 05, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo SAN, is in Cross River State for a consultative visit.
He arrived at the Margaret Ekpo International Airport, Calabar, aboard a Nigerian Air Force Plane and was received by the Cross River State governor, Professor Ben Ayade.
Professor Osinbajo’s visit is aimed at interfacing with the delegates of the ruling All Progressives Congress, ahead of the party’s presidential primary later this month.
The current vice president is one of the aspirants, who declared interest in contesting for the APC Presidential ticket and officially informed his boss, President Buhari of his intentions.
The Vice President is the first aspirant under the APC to pay a consultative visit to the state.
Professor Osinbajo will meet with the Cross River State delegates of his party at the Transcorp Hotels in Calabar.
As part of the visit, Professor Osinbajo is scheduled to meet with the State governor, Professor Ben Ayade. as well as the Obong of Calabar, Edidem Ekpo Okon Abasi Otu V.
