January 02, (THEWILL) – African Democratic Party (ADC) Candidate for Yewa South Constituency in Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. Rotimi Ogundele, has urged Nigerians, especially the people of his constituency, to remain hopeful for a better Nigeria in 2023.
Ogundele, who disclosed this in his New Year message, urged the citizens of the country and Yewa South to ensure they give to the poor, which is the hallmark of a new year celebration.
He also expressed hope that the governorship and all the assembly candidates will win at the court, saying that ADC remains the party to beat in Ogun in 2023.
The House of Assembly candidate, however, charged the people to abandon negative thoughts and hope they achieve better in 2023, praying that the new year would bring in prosperity and abundance to the people of Yewa South constituency.
He said, “Fellow constituents, I urge you to remain hopeful for a better nation, especially as we prepare for the general elections this year 2023. The fraternal love and giving to the poor are the hallmarks of New Year celebration. I enjoin us all to lend helping hands to one another.
“2022 has definitely been a roller coaster ride for our political journey. However, despite the many challenges we encountered, we always rose to the occasion and emerged victorious. In fact, with your support, we were able to achieve a lot for the IRORUN DE 2023 Project and our great party, the ADC, this year.
“While we hope and believe that the appellate court upturn the verdict of the lower court in our favor in the coming weeks, we should not rest on our laurels. Instead, make use of our dedication and perseverance to achieve more.
“Let us leave all the negative things of 2022 and learn from them, as we face another set of challenges in the year 2023. Celebrate new year safely and full of fun and excitement.
“May the year 2023 bring prosperity and abundance to everyone especially to all the good people of Yewa South Constituency, who we intend to represent and serve. Happy New Year.”
