February 06, (THEWILL) – The abducted lawmaker representing Onitsha North Constituency 1, in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Justice Azuka, is dead.
Azuka was abducted by gunmen on December 24, 2024, along Ugwunabankpa Road, Inland Town, in Onitsha.
However, suspects linked to the crime who were arrested on Wednesday night led security operatives to a location around the 2nd Niger Bridge, where the decomposed body of the lawmaker was discovered on Thursday.
Spokesperson of the Anambra Police Command, Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed the development.
