June 07, (THEWILL) – Barely 24 hours after unknown gunmen kidnapped the aged mother of a Kano Central Senatorial District Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdulkadir Zaura, operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) have rescued her in far away Jigawa State.
Hajia Laure Mai Kunu was kidnapped on Monday in her residence in Rangaza ward of Zaura village in the Ungogo Local Government Area of Kano State.
The Chairman of the local government area, Abdullahi Garba Ramat, confirmed on Tuesday that she had regained freedom.
