February 08, (THEWILL) – Abductors of former Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, General Maharazu Tsiga (rtd) have demanded N250 million ransom for his release.
Tsiga was kidnapped alongside several other residents of Tsiga village in Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State on Thursday by bandits.
THEWILL gathered that the abductors contacted Tsiga’s family on Friday night, demanding N250m for his release.
Meanwhile, the Spokesperson of the Katsina State Police Command, Abubakar Sadiq, said the police have activated measures for the safe rescue of all the victims.
