February 04, (THEWILL) – RenoNigerian comedian, Bennet Chinedu Daniel, aka Acapella, has slammed former presidential spokesperson, Reno Omokri, for asking President Bola Tinubu to ban the importation and sale of wigs.
Acapella also said Reno’s parents need to be appreciated for giving birth to a child that does not have sense.
In a video he shared on Instagram, Acapella claimed that Reno has been turned into a puppet who now works for the current government hell-bent on making the lives harder for Nigerians.
Analysing Reno’s tweet where he alleged that Nigerian women bought wigs worth over $200 million, the comedian noted that the beauty industry is quite a big one and Nigerian women bought the wigs with Naira equivalent of the wigs, putting back money into the economy.
He also pointed out that senators got cars worth over N100 million a piece upon resuming office, and the money was spent without any being put into the Nigerian economy.
Acapella, who also pointed out how other countries, including the United Arab Emirates, are moving away from oil to generate revenue from other sectors, stated that Reno is passing off the false claim of being a self-acclaimed ‘table shaker’ because he has nothing to offer.
He added that it is only a government that is not working that would look for who to blame for their failures.
