June 06, (THEWILL) – The member representing Katsina-Ala West Constituency in the Benue State House of Assembly, Hon. Peter Bemdoo Ipusu, has empowered his constituents with various items, including Bajaj motorcycles, sewing and grinding machines, herbicides, knapsack sprayers, wrappers, as well as cash donations, to be self-sufficient.
Handing over the items to the beneficiaries at Amaafu, Katsina-Ala Local Government Area, Hon. Ipusu, who is the Majority Chief Whip in the assembly, promised to sustain the initiative aimed at improving the livelihood of his constituents.
The lawmaker also expressed his readiness to create more employment opportunities for the constituents, as well as attract more development projects, pledging unwavering support to the traditional institutions, disclosing that plans are already underway to construct traditional council halls in the remaining four council wards.
The APC chieftain noted that, just like he did in Iwar council ward, motorcycles will also be provided to traditional rulers to facilitate their movements in coordinating their subjects.
The Majority Chief Whip, Ipusu, who sued for continuous prayers for him to keep fulfilling his campaign promises, appreciated Governor Hyacinth Alia and the Member representing Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Constituency at the House of Representatives, Abuja, Hon. Solomon Wombo, for their unwavering support.
In his remarks, the chairman of Katsina-Ala Local Government Council, Hon. Justine Shaku, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, commended Hon. Ipusu’s excellent performance in office and described the empowerment initiative as a life-changing intervention and shining example of a true representative of his people.
