July 14, (THEWILL) – The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State has won all the 21 Chairmanship seats in the Local Government election conducted on Saturday, July 13.

Chairman of the State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC), Mohammed Umar, wh announced the results of the election on Sunday, in Yola, said for the councillorship positions, PDP also won 225 seats, while NNPP won one seat in Demsa ward in Demsa Local Government Area of the state.

A total of twelve political parties participated in the election.

“For the Chairmanship election PDP won all the 21 seats as declared at the Local Government level.

“And for the councillorship, PDP won 225 seats while NNPP won one seat in Demsa ward”, he said, adding that the commission would issue them certificates of return on Monday.
