March 03, (THEWILL) – Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has earned widespread praise from both local and international audiences following the release of a two-year documentary showcasing his administration’s achievements across various sectors.
The documentary, currently airing on multiple YouTube channels and the Osun State Broadcasting Service, is set for national television broadcast in the coming days.
It highlights key milestones in water supply, education, healthcare, infrastructure, grassroots empowerment, agriculture, science and innovation, commerce and industry, and climate change.
Beyond presenting a midterm performance review, the documentary reflects on the state of governance in Osun as of November 2022 and outlines future plans aimed at deepening development in the state.
Public reactions across social media platforms have been overwhelmingly positive, with many lauding the administration’s impact.
The documentary has sparked discussions across various platforms, with residents and stakeholders acknowledging the government’s strides in critical areas.
“I am honestly overwhelmed by these incredible records of achievements. Within two years, this is really a huge surprise,” a commenter wrote.
Another resident from Osogbo added, “I can attest to many things in the documentary. The Governor has really done well.”
A resident of Ilesa commended the ongoing dualisation project, stating, “The contractor is not slowing down. We are grateful.”
On infrastructure, another resident noted, *”The flyover at Ile-Ife still looks like a miracle for us. I always pass through the place, and it is taking shape beautifully.”
Adeleke’s intervention in the agricultural sector also received commendation, with a resident stating, “A new set of tractors after 14 years. Absolutely wonderful.”
Expressing optimism about economic empowerment initiatives, a respondent remarked, *”What interests me most is the agropreneur programme. The Governor should push it further; it must not fail.”
On healthcare and education, another resident observed, “The rehabilitation of schools and health centers is commendable. The Governor should now focus on general hospitals and recruit more health workers.”
Pensioners also applauded Adeleke’s administration for addressing outstanding payments. “Of everything in the documentary, the payment of pensions and half salaries are the most humane things ever. God bless Adeleke,” a retiree wrote.
Another pensioner shared a personal experience, saying, “I pray daily for the Governor. He gave us, the senior citizens, free medical care.”
Residents also highlighted the administration’s economic empowerment efforts, with a respondent stating, “My mum talked about trade money through cooperatives. The N4 billion artisans’ loan scheme is commendable and will boost financial inclusion.”
A resident of Iresi Town noted the governor’s intervention in road infrastructure, stating, “For almost 40 years, the road between Iresi and Otan Ayegbaju was abandoned. This Governor constructed it. It is really true.”
On water supply, a community member acknowledged, “The borehole in front of my family house is serving the entire ward. It has reduced waterborne diseases in our area.”
With the documentary gaining traction, Adeleke’s administration continues to attract commendation for its policies and developmental strides, further solidifying his support base ahead of future political engagements.
