December 16, (THEWILL) – Chairman, Bayelsa Queens Football Club, Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala, has bagged another award given to him on December 14, 2024, by the ‘Oboro Think-Tank Forum’, of Oboro sons and daughters to foster political unity and community development in Amassoma, for his services to humanity.
The essence of the award, to entrench the culture of appreciating and honouring deserving Amassoma sons and daughters.
Chairman of the occasion, Hon, Alfred Belemote Watson, who is the Commissioner for Community Development, lauded the organisers for setting the pace and called on other communities to borrow a leaf from Oboro Think-Tank group of Amassoma Kingdom.
Also present at the occasion was the Commissioner for Marine and Blue Economy, Dr (Mrs) Faith Izibenua Godwin-Zibs.
The Oboro Think Tank Forum said they are thrilled with Apreala’s dedication and hard work which have significantly contributed to the growth of the Amassoma Kingdom, by way of empowering youth from the area into the position of trust right from the old Rivers State, and that the award is a testament to his exceptional performance.
According to the Forum, Pastor Apreala’s innovative approach to doing things, along with his unwavering commitment to excellence, has set a new standard for the people of Amassoma and his positive impact has been felt across the Kingdom and they are truly grateful for his contributions.
Speaking at the venue of the event at the Amassoma Town Hall, Pastor Robin Angonimi Apreala said it was a great honour for him to receive the special award and dedicated it to God and all who believed in him.
“I express my heartfelt gratitude to all that enabled me to achieve this goal. I consider myself lucky to have received this award and I hope to continue doing my best.
“This accomplishment is a significant milestone in my life. It is an incredible moment for me. I am almost incapable of finding the right words to convey my appreciation. But, I promise to do my best in any capacity they want me to serve, as this award is a call to service”, he said.
