July 13, (THEWILL) — Leading Nigeria’s carrier, Air Peace’s Flight P47190, operating from Lagos to Port Harcourt, on Sunday morning had a minor incident that involved the aircraft veering off the runway at Port Harcourt International Airport.
The airline, in an official statement issued on Sunday morning, titled: “Runway Excursion Of Flight P47190”, confirmed that its flight P47190, operating from Lagos to Port Harcourt, had a runway excursion after landing safely at the Port Harcourt International Airport.
“The aircraft veered slightly off the runway without any damage. All passengers disembarked safely and calmly, and no injuries were reported.
“We reassure the flying public of our unflinching commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety in all our operations”, the statement, signed by the airline’s spokesperson, Osifo-whiskey Efe, stated.
