December 19, (THEWILL) — Air Peace Limited has announced the resumption of daily return flights between Ibadan and Abuja, effective December 24, 2025, in a strategic move aimed at strengthening domestic air connectivity and improving travel convenience.
The development follows the reopening of the Ibadan Airport, which had been previously shut to commercial flight operations.
With the airport now fully operational, the airline stated that it is responding to growing demand from travellers in Oyo State and neighbouring regions who require seamless access to the nation’s capital.
Air Peace confirmed that fares on the Ibadan–Abuja route will start from N95,000, providing passengers with a reliable and competitive option during the high-traffic festive season.
The airline explained that the reinstated service is part of its broader network expansion strategy.
This includes the recent resumption of operations in Warri and increased frequencies across key domestic routes to cater to the yuletide surge and support sustained capacity growth into 2026.
The resumed Ibadan–Abuja service is further bolstered by the airline’s expanding fleet, following the recent delivery of its third Embraer 190 aircraft.
Air Peace noted that the new acquisition will enhance schedule reliability, route flexibility, and overall service efficiency across its domestic network.
