April 08, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s flag carrier, Air Peace, has introduced a new boarding procedure aimed at improving efficiency and elevating the overall travel experience for its passengers.
The airline, which operates the largest fleet in West and Central Africa, announced on Wednesday that the new arrangement prioritises boarding in the following order: military personnel, passengers with special needs, and business class travellers.
According to the airline, the streamlined process is part of a wider initiative to instill a refreshed culture of professionalism, respect, and service excellence across all customer touchpoints.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Dr. Allen Onyema, said the initiative aligns with the airline’s commitment to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Onyema stated, “At Air Peace, we understand the value of time and comfort for our passengers.
“This new boarding structure is designed to reduce congestion at the gates, promote orderliness, and ensure that passengers begin their journeys on a positive note.”
Onyema noted that the revised policy also reflects the airline’s dedication to inclusive and respectful service, particularly for military personnel and passengers with mobility challenges.
He added, “By placing them at the forefront of the boarding process, we are recognising their sacrifices and addressing their unique needs.
“Equally, our business class passengers will benefit from a more refined boarding experience in line with the premium service they expect.”
The airline stated that the move is part of a broader transformation of its service culture, with ongoing investments in infrastructure, fleet expansion, and route development.
Air Peace continues to consolidate its dominance in Nigeria’s aviation industry while expanding its regional and international footprint.
With services to destinations across Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, the airline said it remains committed to setting new benchmarks in safety, hospitality, and world-class service delivery.
Plans are also in motion to introduce new long-haul routes and further enhance onboard offerings as part of Air Peace’s strategy to strengthen Nigeria’s position in global aviation.
