June 07, (THEWILL) – A former Acting Chairman of Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Alumka Zakari Samuel, is dead.
Alumka died on his way to attend the All Progressives Congress (APC) Special Convention in Abuja on Tuesday.
THEWILL gathered that Alumka, a current appointee of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, lost his life in a fatal motor accident along Abuja-Lokoja Road on Tuesday.
A family source, who confirmed the sad incident, said his remains are being transported to his country home in Bassa LGA.
Earlier, Alhaji Isa Baba Buji, one of the APC delegates from Buji Local Government Area (LGA) of Jigawa State died in Abuja.
