November 02, (THEWILL) – The Police Service Commission (PSC) has scored the just-concluded police constable recruitment aptitude test high.
The test, which held nationwide on Friday and Saturday, is one of the requirements for completion of the 2020 recruitment.
Chairman of the Commission, Musiliu Smith, a retired Inspector-General of Police, who monitored the conduct of the exercise, expressed satisfaction with the turnout of the applicants.
Smith, while monitoring the test in Lagos and Ogun State, said the exercise was generally hitch-free and commendable.
According to a statement by the PSC spokesman, Ikechukwu Ani, the commission’s chairman noted that the PSC would continue to insist on merit, fairness and respect for the Federal Character principle in all recruitments into the Nigeria Police Force.
He commended the commission’s staff for their patriotism and commitment to the exercise.
“The commission chairman noted that the PSC would continue to insist on merit, fairness and respect for the Federal Character principle in all recruitments into the Nigeria Police Force.
“He noted that the commission would also continue to uphold the sanctity of the exercise and would not allow it to be diluted,” he said.
