BEVERLY HILLS, August 29, (THEWILL) – Arsenal beat Premier League Champions, Liverpool, 5-4 victory (on penalties) following a 1-1 draw regulation time at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday to lift the Community Shield.

The London club added the trophy to their cabinet as Gabonese striker and Arsenal’s captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored the first goal of the game in the 12th minute. Liverpool drew level in the 73rd minute through Takumi Minamino.

THEWILL reports that this is Arsenal’s second trophy win at the Wembley Stadium within a couple of weeks, having defeated Chelsea to lift the FA Cup final.
