February 18, (THEWILL) – Nigeria’s tourism and hospitality industry is set for a major boost as ATQNews and Seven Wonders of Nigeria initiate a nationwide survey to rank the Top 100 Hotels in Lagos and across the country.

The initiative, hosted by Naija7Wonders, aims to spotlight excellence in hospitality while promoting Nigeria’s top festivals, beaches, waterfalls, art galleries, and restaurants.

More than just a ranking exercise, the survey seeks to highlight businesses and cultural sites that are shaping Nigeria’s tourism landscape.

By engaging hoteliers, travel professionals, and industry stakeholders, the project will provide valuable insights into the evolving sector. Hotels in Lagos with at least 30 rooms and those nationwide with a minimum of 100 rooms qualify for participation.

Coming at a time when Nigeria is positioning itself as a key player in global tourism, the survey is expected to drive increased visitor traffic and encourage investment in the country’s hospitality sector.

Over the years, ATQNews and Seven Wonders of Nigeria have played a pivotal role in promoting Nigeria’s attractions, and this survey builds on that legacy.

The results will be unveiled ahead of the 21st Akwaaba African Travel Market, set to take place from September 14th to 16th, 2024, in Lagos. As West Africa’s largest travel expo, Akwaaba attracts travel professionals, government officials, and investors eager to explore Africa’s tourism potential.

The event will feature key industry discussions, including the 11th Wonders of Nigeria Expo, 5th Aviation & Cargo Conference (CHINET), 4th African Medical Tourism Expo, and 9th African Youth Tourism Bantaba.

It will also host the 7th edition of the Jollof Rice War, a culinary competition celebrating Africa’s most famous dish, alongside an African Tourism Conference where experts will chart the industry’s future.

With Nigeria’s tourism sector poised for expansion, the ATQNews & Seven Wonders of Nigeria survey presents a unique opportunity to recognize industry leaders and showcase the country’s hospitality and cultural heritage.

As the survey results unfold, stakeholders can expect a renewed focus on service excellence and the promotion of Nigeria’s premier travel destinations.
