May 25, (THEWILL) – Cross River State Governor, Prof. Ben Ayade, has listed about 13 high impact projects executed by his administration for commissioning before the end of his tenure on May 29, 2023.
A Press Statement signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr Eric Anderson, reveals that Governor Ayade is to commission one of the projects by himself.
In addition, the Emir of Kano, His Royal Majesty Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayaro CFR, is expected to commission nine, while three will be commissioned by the Chairman of the State Traditional Rulers Council and Paramount Ruler of Bakassi, His Royal Majesty, Etinyin Etim Okon Edet.
The schedule of the commissioning started on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, with Governor Ayade personally commissioning the ultra modern Teachers Continuous Training Institute (TCTI), located at Biase local government area in the state.
On Thursday, May 25, the three projects listed for commissioning to be done by the Chairman of the State Traditional Rulers Council are the Feed mill, a 24,000 birds per day poultry factory (Calachika) and a BPOO Bagging and Packaging Factory; all three located in the Industrial Park, named after Governor Ayade in Calabar Municipality.
The Emir of Kano is expected in the state on Friday, May 26, 2023 and he will be a Special Guest of the State for two days and will commission the following projects, totalling nine; and all executed by the administration of governor Ben Ayade.
These include the Dual Carriage way from Tinapa Junction to Odukpani Junction, Phase one Super Highway, Spaghetti Flyover, 27MW Power Plant Adiabo, 23 MW Power Plant, Parliamentary Extension, Calabar, Obudu German Hospital, Obudu, Ogoja Vitamined Rice Mill, Ogoja, Tookpick Factory Ekori, Yakurr and 120,000 bird ultra modern Poultry.
