BEVERLY HILLS, October 20, (THEWILL) – At least three new generation bank branches along Admiralty Way in Lekki-Lagos were torched on Tuesday night after the military cracked down on #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate.

The banks are GTB, Access and Polaris.

Properties housing offices, as well as shops in the area, were also looted and vandalized by mobs in what appeared to be reprisal attacks after soldiers fired multiple rounds that reportedly killed some protesters and left many wounded.

The Toll Gate on the iconic Lekki-Ikoyi Bridge as well as the office of the company that manages the bridge were earlier set ablaze by unknown person(s). A Lagoon Hospital branch in Apapa was also torched on Tuesday afternoon by hoodlums.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu Tuesday afternoon ordered a statewide curfew to curb the violence in the state after hoodlums razed at least three police stations and mobbed a police officer to death.
