BEVERLY HILLS, August 19, (THEWILL) – Serge Gnabry scored a brace and Polish striker, Robert Lewandowski scored to see the Bundesliga champions, Bayern Munich, to defeat Lyon of France 3-0 and secure a place in the Champions League final as they defeated Lyon 3-0.
Lyon started the match well and could have registered a goal in the first four minutes of the game but the brilliance of goalkeeper Manuel Neuer denied Memphis Depay a brilliant opportunity.
Bayern converted their first chance as Gnabry scored in the 18th minute and doubled it in the 33rd minute.
Lewandowski made it 3-0 with just two minutes left to play.
Bayern will play French side, Paris Saint-Germain, in the final of the competition in Istanbul, Turkey on August 23, 2020.
