December 22, (THEWILL) — The Group Managing Director of Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC), Dr Raymond Asemakaha, has revealed plans by the Benue State Government to establish a new Cement Company in 2026 through a bond facility.

Exchanging views with journalists in his office in Makurdi on Monday, Dr Asemakaha explained that such bonds will be in two tranches of five billion Naira each.

He explained that given the growing graduate rate at the Benue State University, now Father Adasu University Makurdi, BIPC is intensifying the take-off of companies such as fruit juice, beer factory, water and bread, which will provide not less than 4,000 jobs when completed.

Recalling his achievements in 2025, the BIPC Group Managing Director, noted that the Benue ZEVA beer product will flood the market from Tuesday, assuring that 2026 is going to be a harvest for the Benue community.

According to Dr Asemakaha, the State is also planning for the establishment of the Presidential Hotel to meet the international needs of the business class intending to do business in the state.

“International groups, the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Nigeria Football Association (NFA) and other bodies would be having their meetings in the state and require standard hotels”, Asemakaha stated.

He said that at the moment of Yuletide, one trailer load of ZEVA beer bottles and another trailer of canned beer are ready for the Christmas period, after which the factory will be shut down preparatory to more production.

Dr Asemakaha commended Governor Hyacinth Alia for standing by the BIPC, which he noted accounted for the remarkable achievements recorded within a short time in office.
