June 24 (THEWILL) — Bosnia & Herzegovina produced an impressive display to defeat Qatar 3-1, controlling the contest from the outset and showcasing their attacking quality throughout the match.
The breakthrough arrived in the 29th minute before Bosnia struck again just five minutes later, leaving Qatar stunned and facing an uphill battle. The quick-fire double reflected Bosnia’s dominance and rewarded their positive approach.
Qatar found a lifeline shortly before halftime, reducing the deficit in the 42nd minute and giving themselves hope of mounting a comeback after the interval.
