November 23, (THEWILL) – Hamas, on Saturday, said that an Israeli female hostage had been killed in northern Gaza after the area was bombarded by Israel Defence Forces (IDF).
“After re-establishing contact with resistance fighters assigned to protect Israeli prisoners, it was confirmed that one Israeli female prisoner was killed in an area under heavy Israeli bombardment in northern Gaza. Another female prisoner remains in critical danger”, Abu Obaida, Spokesperson for Hamas’s armed wing, Al Qassam Brigades said.
While the IDF is yet to react to the claims, Hamas emphasised that Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, his government and army leaders “bear full responsibility for the lives of their prisoners”.
“They are the ones who insist on causing their suffering and death”, Obaida added.
