BEVERLY HILLS, December 09, (THEWILL) – President Muhammadu Buhari is due to depart for France next week on an official visit, State House sources familiar with the trip told THEWILL Saturday.
The President is spending the weekend in his hometown Daura, Katsina State. Buhari, who ended his two-day official visit to Kano, departed for Katsina via road because of poor weather conditions in the north west.
The sources said the presidency is hoping the weather condition improves to allow the president fly out from Katsina on Sunday or Monday.
The sources said the president is due back in Abuja from Paris before the end of the week.
The president’s spokesmen did not respond to multiple phone calls placed to their phones to discuss details of the president’s trip.
