March 23, (THEWILL) – The Ijaw leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, High Chief Micheal Johnny, who delivered his polling unit to APC in the March 18th Governorship election, has appreciated indigenes of Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area, for their support to the party.
Johnny, in a statement in Warri on Thursday, said, “First time in the history of opposition politics in Gbaramatu kingdom, that I was able to deliver my polling unit to APC in Gbaramatu ward 4, APC polled 1,275 and PDP 1,292.”
“With the support and cooperation from our people we secured these massive votes. In Oporoza Ward 3, APC polled 274, and PDP 569. I sincerely thanked Gbaramatu indigenes who genuinely worked and voted for APC in the March 18th Governorship election.”
Johnny, former Chairman Egbema Gbaramatu Communities Development Foundation, particularly appreciated the Biborpre Zion and Okerenkoko indigenes.
“Be rest assured that we shall retrieve our stolen mandate not more than 100 days. The joy that will last is on the way. Words cannot describe how thankful I am for your support. When I needed you the most, you were there for me. Thank you for everything you have done.”
