March 20, (THEWILL) – The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced partial results of the March 18 governorship election in Delta State.
According to results in 18 of 25 Local Governments so far declared by INEC Collation Officer in the State, Prof. Owunari Abraham Georgewill of the University of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Sheriff Oborevwori, won 15 while Ovie Omo-Agege emerged winner in three LGAs.
Collation of results resumes at the State INEC Headquarters on Monday morning.
