SAN FRANCISCO, March 06, (THEWILL) – The lawmaker representing Delta Central Senatorial District, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has decamped to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Until his defection on Tuesday, Omo-Agege was the only member of the Labour Party, LP, in the upper chamber.
Relying on Order 42 of the Senate Standing Rules, the Senator hinged his excuse to dump the LP on the current crisis rocking the party.
The defection which occurred at about 10.48am threw members of All Progressives Congress, APC, into a joyous mood as they welcomed Omo-Agege to their fold.
