October 14, (THEWILL) – Media personality, Dotun Kayode, aka Do2Tdun, has accused singer, Dapo Oyebanjo, aka D’banj, who is also his in-law of being an instrument of discord in his child custody case with Omotayo, his estranged wife.
Omotayo and Do2Tdun’s marriage, which began in 2013, hit a rough patch in 2022, when Omotayo filed for divorce, citing allegations of forced abortion.
The high court in Abuja granted a divided custody of their children, a decision Omotayo did not oppose, pending the final resolution of the suit.
Recently, Do2Tdun resumed his child custody battle with his wife, claiming he is being denied access to his children.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Do2Tdun alleged that D’banj is causing pain and discord in his life.
He recalled the support he gave D’banj when the singer lost his son and accused him of repaying him with negativity.
Do2Tdun said that Dbanj is experiencing career stagnation because of what he described as the singer’s self-centred nature.
The On Air Personality claimed that Dbanj targeted his family after he refused to work with him.
He argued that the children in question are his, not D’banj’s and accused the singer of trying to alienate them from him.
“I know how much I was there for you when you lost your son. You know the pain of losing a child but you are now the instrument of discord and wickedness in mine”, Do2Tdun wrote.
“You see why your career never took a lift, it is because you only see yourself and never see what others see.
“You knew this boy lifted and it upset you. So the only way to hurt him was through his wife and kids. You knew I loved them. After I said I cannot work with you, that was my issue.
“These are my kids not yours. People do not know why I am involving you so much, you will not make me happy yet you and your family took my source of joy.”
D’banj is yet to respond to the accusations.
