BEVERLY HILLS, October 03, (THEWILL) –Â Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara has finally sworn-in the member-elect representing Vandeikya/Konshesia federal constituency of Benue State, Mrs. Dorothy Mato as a replacement for Mr. Herman Hembe.
Mato, who was ushered into the chamber by the sergent-at-arms at about 11:42 am, had the oath of office administered on her at about 11:55am on Tuesday.
THEWILL recalls that Hembe, a former Chairman, House Committee on Federal Capital Territory, FCT, was sacked by the Supreme Court on June 23.
The apex court decided that Mato was the validly elected candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to represent Konshisha Federal Constituency of Benue State.
