Edo Guber: Group Hosts Ighodalo, Akpata, Okpebholo To Debate

July 12, (THEWILL) – A group in Edo State, Owan Conscience, will host the candidates of the three major political parties in the September 21 gubernatorial election in Edo State to a debate on Saturday, July 13.

The debate, “Political Dialogue with Owan Nation”, is expected to be attended by Dr. Asue Ighodalo, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP);  Barr. Olumide Akpata, candidate of the Labour Party (LP), and Senator Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The event, scheduled at Sabongida-Ora, the headquarters of Owan West Local Government, will begin at 10:00 am.

Chairman of the organising committee and former chairman of Owan West Local Government, Richard Ofen-Imu, said the event would be a question-and-answer session for residents to know their plans for the state.

He said the event would help the candidates understand the plight of the Owan people.
