April 20, (THEWILL) – The Osun State Government, under the leadership of Senator Ademola Adeleke, has put in place necessary measures to make movement convenient for its indigenes in and out of the State during the Eid-el-Fitri celebration.
Mrs Kehinde Odediran, Coordinating Director, Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives and Empowerment, said this in a statement on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, in Osogbo.
Odediran said the train would leave Lagos terminus to Osogbo by 10am on Thursday, April 20, 2023, and return to Lagos on Monday, April 24, 2023, by 10am.
She explained that the State Government provided the train service to lessen the financial burden of Osun indigenes in the area of transportation during festive periods.
She, therefore, implored people to maximise the opportunity of the free train, assuring them of adequate security.
