Playing in front of a packed house both teams gave it their best but it was the plucky side from Warri that went ahead when Musa Najarein converted a corner kick that the team from Aba could not clear.
As suspected it was a ding dong affair with both teams choking up the midfield and being cautious from the outset of the game.

The game then went into penalties where all hit true except for Captain Azubuike costing the team from Warri their first cup ever and giving the one from Aba their third.
