Sentiment remained broadly constructive as investors took positions in select mid- and large-cap stocks, particularly in industrials and consumer goods counters. The significant rise in the ASI reflects strong demand in high-capitalisation equities, even as some profit-taking persisted in specific names.

With renewed buying momentum and improving market breadth, the market may sustain a mildly bullish tone in the near term. However, the mixed performance across sectors suggests intermittent volatility as investors continue to balance bargain-hunting with cautious repositioning ahead of macroeconomic updates.
