Prof. Amos Agbe Utuama SAN,

November 02, (THEWILL) – The former Deputy Governor of Delta State, Prof. Amos Agbe Utuama SAN, died on Saturday morning, at the age of 77.

This is coming less than eight months after he lost his wife, Mrs Nelly Utuama, on March 18, at age 65.

Prof Utuama was a former Commissioner for Justice and Attorney-General. He rose to become Deputy Governor in the administration of former Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, between 2007 and 2015.

“Professor Amos Agbe Utuama, my humble, loyal, and esteemed Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice. You were my steadfast legal foundation, executing your duties with unwavering commitment. If it were within my power to halt death, I would have done so for you. Farewell, dear Professor. May your pure soul rest in eternal peace”, the tribute read.
