October 26, (THEWILL) — The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disowned a timetable circulating on social media allegedly outlining its schedule of nationwide congresses and related activities for 2025.
In a statement on Sunday, the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, said the document titled “APC 2025 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses and Related Activities” was fake and not authorized by the party.
“The attention of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to the so-called schedule of congresses widely circulated online. Our great party wishes to state clearly that the purported document was neither made nor authorized by the party and should be disregarded as fake news,” the statement read.
Morka urged party members and the general public to rely solely on official communications from the APC National Secretariat for accurate information about the party’s activities.
He warned against the deliberate spread of false information aimed at misleading the public or causing confusion within the party, reaffirming the APC’s commitment to transparent and orderly internal processes.
