March 07,(THEWILL)- A section of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, was on Thursday, gutted by fire.
THEWILL gathered that the fire, which broke out at the terminal of the E-Arrival section of the MMIA, led to a temporary suspension of operations.
Sources at the airport said the incident led to a power outage at the airport.
The cause of the fire was not ascertained as of the time of filing this report, but normal activities resumed at the terminal after firefighters intervened.
